Daily School Routines

The School Day (Nursery and Pre-School)

Nursery and pre-school sessions are 2 hours 30 minutes each day for pupils, this includes time for parents to speak informally with the nursery team.

Morning Sessions only
9.20 – 11.50pm

Afternoon Sessions only
12.50 – 3.20pm

Full Days
9.20am – 3.20pm (Lunch 11.50 – 12.50pm)

The School Day (P1 – P7)

9.00am – pupils can enter the school to order and pay for their lunch or to drop off their packed lunch.

Morning Session
9.15am – 12.30 pm (P5-P7)

9.15am – 12.00 pm (P1-P4)

Morning Break
10.40am – 11.00am (P1-P4)

11.00am – 11.20am (P5 – P7)

Lunch Times
12.00 – 12.30pm (P1-P3)

12.30pm – 12.50pm (P4-P7)

Lunch Break

12.50pm – 13.40pm

Afternoon Sessions

1.45 – 3.30pm

School Staff begin playground supervision at 8.45 am. Because no supervision is available before this time, children should not arrive at school until 8.45 am.

During intervals, the janitor and auxiliaries supervise the children. In addition, the head teacher and principal teacher are on call to cope with any difficulties which may arise; parents are kept informed if there are any significant issues. There is always access to the building for children who need it.
