World Book Day

World Book Day
Thursday, 5th March is World Book Day. Children are invited to dress up as their favourite character from a book (teachers will be dressing up too!) There will be in–class activities where children can develop and share their love of books, including ‘drop everything and read!’ when the school bell rings. On Friday, 6th March, there will be two golden tickets drawn from the ‘above and beyond’ box. Children who have been nominated in the two previous weeks will be in with a chance of winning a golden ticket and a special World Book Day prize!
