Accelerated Reader is a powerful tool for monitoring and managing independent reading practice, motivating pupils to read for pleasure. It is a computerized program that tests reading comprehension. Students select books on their reading level, read independently, and take an independent comprehension test on the computer. Each book is worth a certain number of points based on its length and reading level.

What is Renaissance Home Connect? Renaissance Home Connect is a tool that connects the school and home to keep parents informed of their child’s progress towards Accelerated Reader, Renaissance Home Connect also encourages the child to practice reading at home.
