The School Day (Nursery and Pre-School)

8.30-9.00 – Early birds
9.00-11.30 – Morning Sessions

11.30-12.30 – Lunch

12.30-15.00 – Afternoon Session
15.00-16.30 – Afterschool sessions

9.00-15.00 Full day

Children are entitled to funded hours for up to 30 hrs per week on term time basis or 25 hours per week on a year-round basis (excluding first 2 week of summer holiday and 2 weeks Christmas holidays).

Please bare in mind that we may need to change this Info for next year if councillors decide whether budget cuts impact the hours we offer.

Morning Session
9.15am – 12.00 pm (P1-P3)

9.15am – 12.40 pm (P4-P7)

Morning Break
10.45am – 11.00am (P1-P7)

Lunch Times
12.00 – 12.45pm (P1-P3)

12.40pm – 1.25pm (P4-P7)

Afternoon Sessions
12.45 – 3.15pm (P1-P3)

1.25pm – 3.15pm (P4-P7)

School Staff begin playground supervision at 8.45 am. Because no supervision is available before this time, children should not arrive at school until 8.45 am.

During intervals, the janitor and auxiliaries supervise the children. In addition, the head teacher and principal teacher are on call to cope with any difficulties which may arise; parents are kept informed if there are any significant issues. There is always access to the building for children who need it.
